About Our Fleet

GiBro Too

GiBro Too is our Catalina 30 cruising sailboat located at Port Henry NY. SAIL
Adirondacks
1986 C30 exemplifies why the Catalina 30 is the most successful
production sailboat ever produced. Designed in the early 1970s, the traditionally styled Catalina 30 remained in production for over 25 years with nearly 6500 boats
produced. At 30 feet in length, with her wide and deep hull creating exceptional
volume above and below decks, her stability under sail makes the Catalina 30
the perfect cruising sail boat to explore Lake
Champlain. GiBro Too is equipped with all required Coast Guard safety gear, VHF marine radio, GPS/chart plotter, icebox, dinghy (named Chase) and outboard.  She is available for crewed half day (3 hours), full day (6 hours), and Sun-Downer cruises. Other custom cruises including overnight in a Champlain Valley bed and breakfast or at the famous Basin Harbor club are also available. Give us a call and we will craft a wonderful Lake Champlain experience to meet your needs. GiBro Too can take up to five adults and a combination of youth and adults up to six passengers and can be reserved through our Contact page.

GiBro 95

GiBro 95 is SAIL Adirondacks’ O'Day 23 day sailor berthed at the Saranac Lake Marina on beautiful Lower Saranac Lake or at the south end of Upper Saranac Lake near the Indian Carry Boat Launch. Gibro 95 is a small recreational keelboat, with a masthead sloop rig, a transom-hung rudder and a folding centerboard keel. The O’Day 23 was also one of the most popular small cruisers produced in the 1970s to '90s with over 1000 boats sold. It has a length overall of 23’ and with a draft of 5’4” with the centerboard down and only 2’3” with the centerboard retracted, GiBro 95 is the ideal cruiser for exploring the sailing grounds and many islands of the Saranac Lakes.

Gibro 95 is state certified to accommodate four passengers plus your captain, and is accessed via a short dinghy ride from the dock in the Ms. Totty. Gibro 95 is equipped with all required safety gear, stereo, GPS, dinghy and a cooler. GiBro 95 is our primary learn-to-sail boat and is available for lessons on a half day, full day or multi-day basis. She is also available for crewed excursions, picnics, and general sailing about on an hourly basis with a two-hour minimum. Reservations for cruises on GiBro 95 are made through this Reserve Saranac Lake link.

Our as of yet un named Sunfish is the newest boat in the SAIL Adirondacks fleet and is berthed on Lower Saranac Lake, but can be delivered to camps throughout the Tri-Lakes for weekly rentals. She will be used in our evening race series, youth sailing program, and learn-to-sail activities. The Sunfish is the classic starting dinghy with a relatively stable platform, comfortable leg room, and an exciting ride when the wind kicks up. With the easy to rig and control triangular lateen sail, the Sunfish is the easiest boat to access the joy of sailing. These small sailboats can be found on lakes and bays all over the country in addition to racing fleets all over the world. The single-sail Sunfish is praised for its simple to rig set up and is hailed as "the most popular sailboat ever built," the Sunfish is still going strong after more than sixty years. The Sail Adirondacks Sunfish can be reserved through this Reserve Saranac Lake.
